How LoopVideo handles browser-local data, optional analytics, and embedded YouTube playback
2026/07/27
LoopVideo is an independent product operated by an individual under the LoopVideo name. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@loopvideo.net.
LoopVideo lets you repeat a selected A–B section of an embeddable YouTube video. You can change speed, save loops, and keep recent practice sessions without creating an account.
Video IDs and links, A/B points, playback speed, saved loops, recent practice history, language, theme, and practice settings are stored in your current browser. LoopVideo does not use this browser-local data to create a server profile, and it does not sync across browsers or devices.
You can remove recent history and saved loops from the product. You can also clear LoopVideo site data in your browser settings. If local storage is unavailable, practice still works but those items may not persist.
Vercel hosts LoopVideo and may process limited technical information needed to deliver, secure, and diagnose the service, such as an IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp, and error or security logs. LoopVideo does not use these logs to build an advertising or practice profile.
The practice player is provided through YouTube's embedded player. Loading or playing a video sends network requests to YouTube/Google, which may process technical information under their own policies. LoopVideo does not download, store, proxy, or re-host the video.
LoopVideo uses Google Analytics only on non-practice public pages and only after you select Allow analytics. Before that choice, or after you reject analytics, LoopVideo does not load the Google Analytics tag or send analytics requests to Google.
The default Google Analytics implementation may process page and interaction
information, referrer information, session statistics, approximate location
derived from an IP address, browser and device information, and a
pseudonymous client identifier stored in a first-party _ga cookie. This
helps us understand general site usage and improve public content.
Google Analytics is never loaded on video practice routes, including localized practice routes. LoopVideo does not intentionally send video IDs or links, A/B points, playback speed, saved loops, practice history, or video titles to Google Analytics. We do not use analytics for advertising or session recording.
Your analytics choice is kept in first-party browser local storage. You can withdraw or change it through Cookie settings in the site footer. Withdrawing consent reloads the page and prevents Google Analytics from loading on later pages. You can clear existing analytics cookies through your browser's site data controls.
Google processes Analytics data under its own privacy policy and describes its default Analytics data collection.
Cloudflare routes messages sent to support@loopvideo.net to the operator's mailbox provider. Those providers process the address, message, and delivery metadata needed to exchange and answer the message.
Support correspondence is normally kept only as long as needed to answer the request and protect the service, and no longer than 12 months. It may be kept longer when required by law, security needs, or an active dispute. You may ask for earlier deletion by emailing support@loopvideo.net. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in a support request.
LoopVideo is not directed to children under 13. A user who has not reached the age of legal majority where they live should use the service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
We may update this policy when the product, providers, or data handling changes. The current version will remain available on this page. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@loopvideo.net.
